Top 10 things to do in Sydney
G'day . . if anyone is planning on coming to Sydney, here's a top 10 list of things not to be missed: 1. BridgeClimb - climb over the arch of the Sydney Harbour Bridge with spectacular views of the harbour and beyond. Can be done throughout the day but I believe a sunset climb is best so you can see Sydney by day and with the city skyline lights at night. 2. Manly - take the ferry from circular quay to Manly for lunch at one of the many cafe's - experience the relaxing feryy ride how lucky Sydneysiders get to work each day. 3. Cocktails at the Shangri-La Hotel - great bar on the top floor with spectacular views of the city & harbour. 4. Bondi Beach - world famous, but there are less crowded beaches. 5. Opera Bar - evening drinks at the outdoor bar at the base of the Opera House. 6. OpenAir Cinema - if you're in Sydney over the Summer check out one of the many OpenAir Cinema location - if you can secure tickets, the St George Open Air in the botanic gardens is suberb. 7. Darling Harbour / Cockle Bay - wander round this area, checking out the shops, bars & restaurant harbourside. Plenty to keep the kids entertained as well. 8. Botanic Gardens - brilliant green space in the heart of the city with great views. 9. Watsons Bay - catch the ferry over to Watsons Bay for a relaxing afternoon. Dine in the beer garden of Doyle's for great Aussie seafood. 10. Queen Victoria Building - one of the most beautifully restored shopping locations in the world. Enjoy |
